Privacy Policy
ShippedAndSeen ("we", "us") is operated by UCCUSTOMS LLC, based in Utah, USA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use shippedandseen.com, our free tools, and our paid reports, and what we do with it. We've tried to keep it short and plain.

The short version
- We collect only what we need to deliver what you asked for: your email, your site URL, and (if you choose) your app or site name and competitors.
- Stripe processes payments as the merchant of record, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues receipts. Your card details never touch our systems.
- To build your report, we send your site details and buyer-style questions to third-party AI services (OpenAI, Perplexity, and Google Gemini).
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (reseller) for purchases, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues receipts. You enter card details directly with Stripe, and they never touch our systems. We receive limited details from Stripe, such as your name, email, amount paid, the last four digits of your card, and transaction status. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Information about your site. To build your report, we fetch publicly available pages and files from the site you submit, such as your homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, and sitemap. We only look at what's publicly reachable. We don't log in to anything.
Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may automatically log basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. We don't currently use advertising cookies or ad tracking.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the reports and Fix Packs you order
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, delivery, and replies to your questions)
- If we ever send marketing emails, every one will have an unsubscribe link.
- To handle refunds, support, and fraud prevention
- To keep basic business and tax records
- To improve our reports and tools (for example, fixing a check that broke on a certain kind of site)
We don't use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Third-party AI services
Your report is generated using official APIs from third-party AI providers:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT models, with web search)
- Perplexity
- Google (Gemini, with Google Search grounding)
To build your report, we send these providers buyer-style questions about your category and may include your app or site name, site URL, competitors, and text from your public web pages. We do not send them your payment information. Each provider handles API data under its own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We don't control how these providers operate, but we only use their official API services.
Reports and Fix Packs are generated automatically by our software, which uses these AI models to analyze results and produce the written parts. No part is written by hand.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run ShippedAndSeen, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. How long we keep it

6. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it. You'll still get emails about orders you placed.
- Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@shippedandseen.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and within any period required by law. We may need to keep some records (like payment records) where the law requires it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Email us and we'll help.
7. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.
8. Children
ShippedAndSeen is meant for adults building software products. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
9. International users
We're based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the US and other countries. By using ShippedAndSeen, you understand your information may be processed outside your home country.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll post a notice on the site or email customers.
